HARTING has expanded the ICC 20 series to include the Single Pole so that users can transmit significantly higher power for machines and devices. A single connector transmits up to 400A/600V, making it suitable for energy-intensive applications such as robot arms for heavy load handling or high-performance welding robots.
Compared to other solutions available on the market, this option enables space savings of up to 20% and 50% higher power in given space. It enables designers to offer high performance solutions in a limited space.

A highly flexible production line needs many tool-changes. Sometimes they require manual steps in between, e.g. to change-over pneumatic tools. The new ICC 20 can handle pressure and overpressure thanks to integrated check valves. Pneumatic tools can be changed in a fraction of the time needed in the past, leading to a higher availability of the unit.

In the past, we often had space problems with circular dresspacks. With the ICC 20, we now have a modular, flexible solution for these requirements. We also had difficulties with RJ45 connectors due to vibrations. The industrial-grade SPE integration offers significant advantages here. The 400 A contact inserts also allow high-performance welding processes to be automated profitably. The variety of possible inserts and termination technologies makes it easier to change tools.
