We will open the first HARTING Energy Transition Days with a keynote speech by Haras Najib.

Haras Najib serves as the Technology and Innovation Officer at the VDMA Power Systems Association, where he also manages the Wind Industry Working Group, bringing together the entire value chain of the wind sector. After graduating from the Technical University of Darmstadt, the industrial engineer specialized in electrical engineering began his career as a consultant for grid integration of renewable energies before joining VDMA in 2017.

In addition to representing the interests of plant engineering in energy policy, his main areas of focus include energy research and supply chain topics. In recent years, he has concentrated on the market and technology potential of the wind industry, as well as on sustainability and recycling. As part of his role, he represents the association in various national and international committees, including WindEurope.
