HARTING first entered China market in 1988 and is the first global connector manufacturer in the Chinese market awarded the CCC (China Compulsory Certification). In 2007, it opened a new factory and started to die-cast hood/housing for application of machinery, railway, energy, wind energy and automation. The whole plant is 25,000 sqm with the 20,000 sqm production area. The production centre has obtained the ISO 14001 in 2004, ISO 9001 in 2015 and it is also IRIS/TS 22163 and Lab ISO 17025: CNAS certified.  HARTING Zhuhai offers “Out of one hand solution” to the customers. 

HARTING creates standards in the connector industry and provides connectivity and networks solutions to our esteemed customers according to their special requirements.  The company focuses on factory automation, transportation, renewable energy, power transmission, machinery & robotics, LED markets etc.

Inaugurated on June 30, 2022, HARTING India unveiled its new production plant, which is now located in a larger and better facility in Thirumazhisai, Chennai. This area is the main industrial hub of the city and is adjacent to the Chennai–Bangalore highway. The new plant, with over 32,000 sq. feet of factory space, marks a significant step forward in the continuous development and success of the organisation in India and the Asia-Pacific region.

The inauguration was followed by a customers' and distributors' meeting at the plant, along with a tour of the facility. "As we always say, HARTING prioritises its commitment to the environment. To reinforce this commitment, the event included the planting of saplings at the factory premises by Bernd Fischer and Andreas Conrad," stated a press release.

HARTING has now set up a new production site in Vietnam. China's neighbour is a strategically important location in Asia for the Technology Group. As from now, a well-trained core team will have connector production up and running on the over 2,500 square metre factory premises.
