Individuality is our claim
Based on the HARTING portfolio, we develop and manufacture customized cabling solutions for mechanical engineering, robotics, and railways.
Under the motto “Connecting the All Electric Society”, we have made it our mission to solve connectivity challenges while always taking an application-specific approach. After all, every sector has its own unique requirements, while at the same time relying on standardised interfaces in certain areas.
At HARTING Customised Solutions, we address the individuality of each sector and meet these challenges with tailored connectivity and cabling solutions. Our solutions are precisely designed for their intended application and ready to withstand the specific demands of our customers' operating environments. Based on our portfolio, we develop and manufacture customised cabling solutions that are used in a wide range of industries, including machinery, robotics, and the railway sector.
Every connection needs a cable
Standardised interfaces are essential in many industrial applications so that devices and machines can be connected to each other. Standards ensure compatibility and interoperability and are particularly important in the exchange of data and signals.
In the field of energy feed-in and distribution in industrial applications, individual requirements often determine the picture. Depending on the environment of the application, interfaces must be designed for specific applications. IP requirements, EMC protection or environmental conditions must be taken into account. Han® connectors offer countless combinations and solution approaches here. Our engineering teams not only provide support in the design and selection of the right components but also develop "plug-and-play" capable cabling systems. These are manufactured to the highest standards in our globally positioned production facilities. In this way, we enable our customers to fully concentrate on their own core competencies, reduce installation times and thus contribute to faster and easier commissioning.

The future brings energy and data together
We are facing crucial challenges in our world: Decarbonisation, sustainability and demographic change. In the face of these challenges, a common vision of the future is essential: the All Electric Society.
The All-Electric Society is the vision of a society that covers its entire energy needs from "green" electricity and distributes it according to demand. We are referring to the five sectors of Energy, Industry, Mobility, Infrastructure and Agriculture. These sectors need to be linked not only with each other, but also within the sectors.
Two "lifelines" are needed to turn this vision of the All-Electric Society into a reality: energy and data. A variety of applications is likely to emerge in both the industrial and private environments, which will need to be supplied by these "lifelines" along with being networked with each other. The success of this depends on intelligent, communicating devices on the one hand and secure and reliable "hardware" - in the form of connectivity and cabling - on the other.
