Application specific engineering

In machinery there is a growing focus on modular and scalable machinery and production systems. This enables manufacturing processes to be adapted more flexibly while improving overall system availability. The electrical infrastructure must also follow this trend, meaning that machine cabling needs to be designed to be as modular and adaptable as possible.

To support these requirements, we develop and manufacture customised cable assemblies tailored to individual applications. The use of pre-assembled and fully tested cables significantly reduces, or even eliminates, wiring efforts in the field. In robotics, we provide not only cabling solutions from the control cabinet to the robot (floor cables), but also customised solutions for drives and robot arms in stationary robotic applications (dresspacks).

The infrastructure of data centers includes servers, storage devices, networking equipment, power distribution units (PDUs), cooling systems, and security systems. It also comprises components such as racks, cabinets, and fire suppression systems, all of which must work together efficiently.

Reliable physical connections are essential to ensure secure power and data transmission. Pre-assembled cable systems not only provide secure connectivity but also significantly simplify and accelerate the construction of data centers, saving both time and costs before commissioning. In addition, components can be replaced quickly during maintenance, minimizing unnecessary downtime.

Connectors and cables form the backbone of intralogistics. They ensure seamless transmission of power, data, and control signals between all interconnected components, such as drives and frequency converters. Without them, modern warehousing and distribution processes would not be possible.

We offer both standardised system cabling solutions, primarily used for data and signal transmission, and customised pre-assembled cable assemblies for supplying power to all system components. These solutions significantly simplify and speed up the construction of logistics centers and enable faster commissioning. In the event of servicing, components can be replaced quickly and easily, helping to avoid costly downtime.

When constructing wind turbines, all processes must be precisely coordinated to ensure that the systems can be connected to the grid as quickly as possible. To achieve this, prefabricated modules are used and assembled on-site. The electrical installation must follow the same approach, connecting all system components in a modular and scalable manner.

Both the internal electrical supply of the turbine and the transmission of generated energy are realized through specially designed connectors and cable systems. Customised, pre-assembled, and pre-tested cabling solutions reduce installation effort during the construction phase to an absolute minimum.

Connectivity for the safe transmission of power and data plays a key role in shaping the energy supply of the future. It also enables the scalability and modularisation of systems, for example in hydrogen production and distribution.

Our modular and customisable components, as well as tailor-made system solutions, are used wherever hydrogen is produced, stored, distributed, or filled, and where monitoring and control are required.
